One other thought, dear students and colleagues:

Around 500 B.C., the Chinese philosopher Lao Zi (Lao Tzu, if you use Wade-Giles Romanization rather than Pinyin) wrote:

千里之行始于足下
(qian li zhi xing shiyu zu xia)
="A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step".

The words translated "single step" might also be translated as "putting your foot down".
So, let's put our feet down and go forward, determined to study and accomplish great things.
Dear LSN students:

We will have a final exam next week, as well as HSA. Here are the things we will cover:

(1) Powers of Congress
(2) Congress aqnd the President
(3) Investigations and Oversight
(4) How a Bill becomes Law
(5) Influencing Congress
(6) Helping Constituents
(7) Taxing and Spending
(8) Powers of the President
(9) Presidential Office and Succession

Many of the things related to Congress will also be on the Quarterly Assessment.
Our final exam may be take-home and open-book--but it will be long and have some difficult questions!
